My name is Frances Ryan and I’m a lifelong resident and community member of Clinton County with over 25 years of experience working with people of all ages. I feel privileged to have been able to spend my career here in the North Country, an area that I love, where I have had the opportunity to provide mental and behavioral health services to many members of this community for years.

I am a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Plattsburgh and a BA from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY. I have over 25 years of experience working for a local behavioral health agency serving children and adolescents, families and adults with behavioral and mental health and addiction issues. I have specialized in children and youth and parent/family and relationship issues.

I recently opened my own private psychotherapy practice and I welcome new patients. I see Adult Issues, Anxiety, Depression, Family/Couples Counseling, Teens and Children, PTSD and much much more (please click the Specialties tab for a full list).
